Field names on slate by Phoebe Tonkin

The Gathering / Yr Helfa was a site-specific walking-performance revealing the day-to-day and seasonal workings of Hafod y Llan, a sheep farm located on the foot-hills of Snowdon. The performance took participants on a circular journey that traced a six-kilometre route through the landscape and into the farm. As they walked they experienced installations, performance, film, poetry, music and sound as well as farming activities.

DESIGN ASSISTANCE and installation building

For a month in August 2014, Phoebe worked within a small  team of assistants to help realise Artist Louise Ann Wilson's design; from rough sketches and collages to final installations and display of her extensive research as part of the walking performance.
